Kantha quilts are six layers of sari cloth, hand-stitched together in Bangladesh using a traditional kantha stitch. Great used as a throw blanket.
 
All six layers are repurposed vintage sari cloth with varying patterns. The outer two layers of these indigo kantha have been dyed using the remarkable natural indigo dye process. All stitching is in white thread. The patterns (visible through the indigo dye) do vary, as each piece of dyed cloth is unique.
