These beautiful kantha quilts have been made from six layers of re-purposed, vintage sari cloth that has been hand-stitched together in Bangladesh, using a traditional kantha stitch. The outer layers have then been dyed using the remarkable natural indigo dye process which imparts a brilliant blue hue to fabric.
These unique blankets add a fantastic bit of color and style to any room. We especially love them thrown over your favorite chair, placed at the foot of a bed, or even hung as a wall tapestry.
The patterns (visible through the indigo dye) do vary, as each piece of dyed cloth is unique.
